You use this function to configure the New Debugger interface according to your needs and requirements. When you save your customized layout, it is available each time you restart the Debugger.
A work area can contain at least one and at most four tools. You can display one tool more than once within the same work area. Tools can be resized and swapped across the screen.

You can add a new tool to the display by choosing
with the quick info text New Tool.
The New Tool dialog box appears.
The function is available if you have less than four tools displayed.

You can close a tool by choosing with the
quick info text Close Tool.

You can replace a tool with a new one by choosing
with the quick info text Replace Tool.
The New Tool dialog box appears.

You can display a tool in full screen, closing all
other tools, by choosing with the quick info text Full Screen.
A tool is always displayed in full as long as the work area does not contain other tools.
The function is available if you have more than one tool displayed.

You can vertically maximize a selected tool by
choosing with the quick info text Maximize Vertically.
If you have four tools displayed, the tool below or above the one that is vertically maximized is closed.
The function is available if you have more than one tool displayed.

You can horizontally maximize a selected tool by
choosing with the quick info text Maximize Horizontally
If you have four tools displayed, the tool to the left or to the right of the one that is horizontally maximized is closed.
The function is available if you have more than one tool displayed.

You can swap already displayed tools by choosing
with the quick info text Swap….
○ If you have three tools displayed, a dialog appears asking you to Swap Vertically or to Swap Horizontally.
○ If you have four tools displayed, a dialog appears asking you to Swap Vertically, Swap Horizontally, or Swap Diagonally.
The function is available if you have more than one tool displayed.
Using the Increase and Reduce pushbuttons, you can resize tools by performing the following:
● Adjust the horizontal separation line.
● Adjust the vertical separation line.
You
can rearrange and resize tools in each of the 11 work areas, but you can
permanently save only the layout of Desktop1, Desktop2,
and Desktop3. To do this, choose with the quick info text Save Layout. The layout setting you have saved appears the
next time you start the Debugger.
