Click on the sections below, to find tips and solutions to the most common problems.
Is Adapt UI available in your options menu or Me Area? If not, you're probably not assigned to the required authorization role. Please contact your administrator.
In the UI adaptation mode, you can only change UI elements which are highlighted when you hover over them or which you can select. In the following example, the list on the left side and the header (dotted line) can't be changed, but the Sales Order Details form can be selected and the General Data group gets highlighted on hover. This means you can change the form and the group.
If all fields or sections are already placed on the UI, there's nothing left in the Available Fields or Available Sections dialog. But you could still create new custom fields and add them.
UI elements get highlighted when you hover over them, but you can't drag and drop them? The issue might be that your computer or laptop "thinks" you're using a touch device. If you use Google Chrome, you can try out the following experimental feature: Go to chrome://flags, set Enable touch events to Disabled, and restart your browser.
If you select two or three fields, the Combine function gets available in the context menu. If you select more fields, it's grayed out. Bear in mind that if you want to combine an combined field, it can contain only two fields.
After a browser refresh or exiting and restarting the UI adaptation mode, all your UI changes are gone? Then your app might unfortunately be developed in a way that UI adaptation at runtime can't memorize your UI changes and restore them. Please contact your administrator.
