Screen Reader Support

For example, in the launchpad the screen reader announces:
  • Menu options and how many there are

  • Which tiles and which groups are in focus

High Contrast Themes

Themes are an important aspect for an SAPUI5 application. A high contrast theme is recommended for those users who are visually impaired.

The High-Contrast Black (HCB) theme for SAPUI5 controls is a predefined theme that is distinguishable for this purpose.

For information about changing the theme in SAP Fiori launchpad, see Personalizing the Home Page.
