Launchpad Configuration ParametersLocate this document in the navigation structure

You can use configuration parameters to configure different aspects of the launchpad.

Note These parameters cannot be configured in the launchpad URL.

runStandaloneAppFolderWhitelist

Allows you to control the list of locations from where apps can be run in standalone mode.

Default values for this parameter are provided by SAP in the FioriLaunchpad.html file. You can override these default settings in a launchpad configuration file.

Allowed values are name-value pairs where the name is a path, and the value is true or false.

enabled

Determines whether the end user can send feedback about SAP Fiori launchpad to SAP.

Default value: true

enabled

Determines whether end users can create support tickets directly in the launchpad.

Default value: false

enableHideGroups

Determines whether the end user can hide groups on the home page (in edit mode).

When set to true, the Hide option is displayed in the group's header. Note that home page personalization must be enabled (see enablePersonalization below) for this option to take effect.

Default value: false

enableTilesOpacity

Determines whether tiles are displayed with varying degrees of opacity, according to the frequency of their usage.

When set to true, frequently-used apps visually stand out in comparison to less frequently-used apps, which are more transparent.

Default value: false

enableEasyAccess

Determines whether the additional tabs SAP Menu and User Menu are displayed in the app finder. These tabs allow launchpad users to access SAP GUI and Web Dynpro ABAP applications retrieved from SAP Easy Access menu entries.

Default value: true

enablePersonalization

Determines whether the end user can personalize the home page.

When set to true, the end user can perform the following actions:

  • Move, rename, delete, reset, or create new groups
  • Move or remove tiles

Default value: true

enableSetTheme

Determines whether the end user can set the theme in the Settings dialog in the Appearance section.

When set to true, the end user can select the theme to use.

When set to false, the end user can see the current theme, but cannot select a different one.

Default value: true

enableSearch

Determines whether the search option is displayed in the launchpad header bar.

Default value: true

disableSignOut

Determines whether the Sign Out option is displayed in the launchpad. You may want to hide it if you have not implemented any sign-out capabilities in your launchpad.

Default value: false

enableBackGroundShapes

Determines whether the background shapes are displayed in the out-of-the-box SAP Belize theme and custom themes based on SAP Belize.

Default value: true

enableRecentActivity

Determines whether end users will be able to see and access the most recent apps and objects that they have worked on.

Default value: false

enableUserDefaultParameters

Determines whether end users can view and edit default parameter values.

enableContentDensity

Determines whether end users can view and toggle the Cozy Content Spacing option, which is intended for users of hybrid devices that combine both touch and mouse events.
