Test the Activated OData Service

To test the new service from the Service Catalog, select the newly created service and choose SAP Gateway Client.

If the SAP Gateway is located in the same ABAP system and you open the DDL editor with the relevant DDL source again, you will detect that a new decorator indicates a successfully activated OData service. If you move the cursor over the decorator, an info screen provides you with a link to the OData service.

In addition, an ICF node (object type SICF) for the OData service has been generated - assuming that a productive package (none $TMP package) was assigned for service activation.
