Clearing Metadata Cache and Deleting Notifications Locate this document in the navigation structure

During the course of the provider class development there might be the need to get rid of notification which have been already created. For example: you are adding actions to a notification provider class which haven't been there before. The existing notification won't reflect this change nor will it be reflected on newly created notification. The notification channel has a caching mechanism for those kind of metadata.

To delete and/or clear those metadata informations run tranasaction /IWNGW/H_CLEAR_NOTIF. Run this transaction on the frontend system (hub).

Transaction /IWNGW/H_CLEAR_NOTIF allows you to delete notifications by specifying a user name and a "Less than" created-at-date and the option to also clear the related metadata data information. As an additional option you can also use the Wipe All function, which will wipe all notifications for all user and all metatdata.
