Transaction /IWBEP/V4_ADMIN
Transaction /IWBEP/V4_ADMIN is the service administration tool in a backend system to do the following:
  • Administer service groups.

  • Administer all services of repository DEFAULT.
  • Navigate to different support tools such as SAP Gateway Error Log or the test tool SAP Gateway Client.

You can carry out the following actions:
  • Manage service groups: Register or delete service group.

  • Manage service:
    • Register a service

    • Assign a service to a service group

    • Assign services to a service group

    • Unassign services from a service group

    • Update a service

    • Delete a service

  • Step-by-step configuration: Display recommended or available actions after registration of a service group or service.

  • Display dependent service groups and services:
    • Display all services of a service group

    • Display all service groups that are assigned from a service
  • Find services based on one or more of the following selection criteria:
    • Repository ID

    • Service ID

    • Service version

    • Model provider class

    • Data provider class

  • My favorites: Service groups or services can be set in My Favorites for quickly accessing frequently used service groups and services.

  • Navigate to different support tools such as the SAP Gateway Error Log or the test tool SAP Gateway Client.

You can carry out the following actions:
  • Routing configuration: configure the communications between the hub system and all connected backend systems.

  • Get and publish service groups from a backend system.

  • Assign system aliases to service groups.

  • Manage service groups:
    • Updata a service group.

    • Delete a service group.

  • Display dependent system aliases, service groups and services.

    • Display all service groups using the same system alias.

    • Display all system aliases that are assigned to a service group.

    • Display all services available using the same service group and system alias.

  • Find services on a local or remote backend system based on the following selections:
    • System alias

    • Repository ID

    • Service ID

    • Service version

  • My favorites: Service groups or services can be set in My Favorites for quickly accessing frequently used service groups and services.

  • Navigate to different support tools such as the SAP Gateway Error Log or the test tool SAP Gateway Client.
