Configuring the Service ConsumerLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

To make a CMIS repository available for the ECM integration layer, you must first configure the connection data to the CMIS system. Since communication with the CMIS system uses Web services, you must create a logical port for each of the following Web service proxies:

  • RepositoryServicePort

  • ObjectServicePort

  • NavigationServicePort

  • VersioningServicePort

  • ACLServicePort

Note the following when performing the configuration:

  • The name of the logical port must be the same for all described Web service proxies.

  • In addition to the connection data for the CMIS system, the logical ports also contain information for authentication.

  • To enable users authorized in the SAP system to also work in the CMIS repository, you should use authentication by Single Sign-On (SSO). The CMIS repository must support this authentication.

  • Alternatively, you can work with a service user.

Note

Note that you can perform all actions in the CMIS repository with the name of the service user.
