
You have accessed the tool for managing background jobs and selected the Adapter Engine Jobs tab. For more information, see Performing Background Processing .
Choose Create Job , or select an existing job and choose Modify .
Enter the name, type, start date and time, and the frequency at which the job should be started.
Note that defining the name and type of a job is possible only when you create a new job.
Choose whether the job should be active or not.
Define rules for the job as needed.
For certain job types, you can define parameters in the following way:
Choose the Parameters tab.
Note that this tab is available only when there are parameters that can be defined for the selected job type.
In the Parameters dropdown list, select a parameter and choose Add .
You can add each parameter only once.
Enter a value for the parameter.
Choose Create .
The system creates the background job. For more information, see Managing Jobs .
