Interpreting the Statistics as a CoordinatorLocate this document in the navigation structure

Context

The translation statistics are displayed in a tree structure, which is determined by the tree type that you selected on the initial screen of transaction Translation Statistics (SLLS). You can click on the arrows in the tree structure to expand and collapse, as necessary.

Total values are displayed at the top of the Translation Statistics – Standard Display screen. Lines refers to lines in short text objects. Each line in a short text object counts as 1, and these figures are absolutely precise. Objects refer to long text objects and forms. These figures are approximate values.

The statistics provide you with the following information for short text objects, which is always displayed in rows in which the word Lines appears:

The statistics provide you with the following information for long text objects and forms, which is always displayed in rows in which the word Objects appears:

  • Total: The total number of objects
  • New: The number of new objects
  • Modified: The number of modified objects
  • Translated: The number of translated objects
  • With Proposal: Only short text objects are translated with the aid of the proposal pool, so the value in this column is always 0 for objects
Note

If you’re surprised to discover an unexpectedly high number of modified objects in the statistics, this might indicate that fingerprints are missing in your system. For more information, see the following topics:
