The gateway technology SAP MaxDB bridge allows you to access data sources beyond the current set of SAP certified database management systems. The first use case is the enhancement of the scalability of the SAP Business Information Warehouse application by storing its tables on highly scalable database systems, for example Teradata Foundation for SAP BW.
