Repository

In the OData version 4 (V4) runtime implementation of the SAP Gateway Foundation framework services originate from repositories. The repository determines the representation of an OData service in the SAP Gateway Foundation framework.

Standard handcrafted OData services belong to the DEFAULT repository. The implementation of these services is located in an own metadata and data provider class.

The implementation of a repository supplies the runtime and the administration with the information about service implementation and service registration information.

Repositories can only be registered by SAP.
