Use

The calendar repository manager provides the option of selecting the required groupware transports from a set of deployed transports.

Integration

This Collaboration manager provides read and write access to meetings and appointments on a groupware server.

Prerequisites

You have already created an Exchange transport.

If you have configured more than one Exchange transport, you must select every transport listed in the table.
Activities

To configure the calendar repository manager, choose System Administration → System Configuration from the top-level navigation bar and then choose Knowledge Management → Content Management → Repository Managers → Calendar Repository. You then edit the default instance created and update the parameters appropriately as described in the table above.

Testing Connectivity from SAP Enterprise Portal

You can now perform the following steps to test connectivity from SAPEnterprise Portal.

  1. Choose Personalize → User Mapping (Remote iViews) from the portal header, and enter the user credentials associated with this e-mail address. All portal users should be in the eu_role role to get the Personalize tab in the right corner of the portal.
  2. Check that the e-mail address is configured for the test user. The e-mail address of the user maintained in the user profile of the portal should correspond to the mailbox specified in user mapping. More information: Mapping Your User
  3. Select the My Appointments iView by clicking on Content Administration → Portal Content, and then choosing Content Provided By SAP → Collaboration → DemoRole → iViews from the detailed navigation area.
  4. Click on Preview. The iView should now display appointments for the current date.
