Invalid Certification of a FormLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

A certification is invalid if at least one of the following points applies:

  • The form has been changed without permission.

    • The changes made do not comply with the change options allowed for the form.

    • Changes have been made to fields that are blocked against user input.

    • Changes have been made to elements of the layout, such as fixed texts or graphics.

    • The form has been changed while being transported.

  • The certificate has expired.

  • The certificate is not trustworthy. It has not been issued by an accepted Certification Authority (CA).

    Note

    If a certificate has been configured as trusted, then it is entered under Trusted Anchors in the J2EE Engine Visual Administrator on the server side, and under Trusted Identities in Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader on the client side. It is also configured for certified documents.

    Note

    Depending on the application, the certification check may also display a message stating that the certification is unknown .

  • The certificate has been revoked. It is included in a Certificate Revocation List (CRL) of the issuing CA.
