Use

Special functions for software logistics support you when you configure the software landscape, carry out software maintenance, localization and rollout, and when you integrate third-party products.

Transport and change management	These functions allow the distribution of software changes from the development environment to the quality assurance and production environments. For general information about transporting content from the portal or the KM configuration environment, see the portal and KM administration guides respectively. When using Collaboration capabilities, the transport of room templates and room part templates is relevant. For more information, see Transporting Templates .

Release and upgrade management	Reduces time, costs, and risks connected to upgrades.
