-f|-function

This BRSPACE command option specifies the function to be performed. You should always enter a function.

            -f|-function
            dbalter|dbcreate|dbparam|dbshow|dbshut|dbstart|
            dfalter|dfmove|idalter|idrebuild|mdencr|mfback|
            moredo|mstats|tbalter|tbexport|tbimport|tbreorg|
            tsalter|tscreate|tsdrop|tsextend

Default value: current status of database instance is displayed

Function Options

dbalter: alters the database instance
dbcreate: recreates the database
dbparam: alters database parameters
dbshow: shows database information
dbshut: shuts the database
dbstart: starts the database
dfalter: alters a data file
dfmove: moves a data file
idalter: alters indexes
idrebuild: rebuilds indexes
mdencr: manages data encryption
mfback manages flashback database
moredo: manages online redo log files
mstats: manages database statistics
tbalter: alters tables
tbexport: exports tables
tbimport: imports tables
tbreorg: reorganizes tables
tsalter: alters a tablespace
tscreate: creates a tablespace
tsdrop: drops a tablespace
tsextend: extends a tablespace
