Checking Active Parameters of an Application Server Instance

Context

You can use transaction RSPFPAR to determine which profile parameters are active for a particular application server instance.

Open transaction RSPFPAR (display profile parameters) on the application server instance for which you want to look at the parameter values.
You can switch the instance in transaction SM51.
Choose Execute to display a list of all valid profile parameters for the selected application server instance.
A table with the following values is displayed:
- Parameter Name:Name of the profile parameter
- User-Defined Value: Value from the instance profile or default profile if the profile parameter was set there.
- System Default Value: Displays the resolved value from the kernel default.
- System Default Value (unsubstituted): Displays the resolved value from the kernel default before the substituted variables were replaced.
