Managing Form Objects

Use

You can copy, download, and upload the form objects Form Interface and Form Template , and save and manage different versions. You can also create internal system online documentation for each form object.

Prerequisites

You have called the Form Builder.

Procedure

Reusing Form Objects

Call the form object for editing.
To copy the form object, choose Form Object Copy Form Object .
To download the form object to your PC and upload it back to the system, choose Utilities Download Form Object or Utilities Upload Form Object .

Caution
Do not load any form objects that were created in a higher SAP NetWeaver release.

Creating Documentation for Form Objects

The documentation about the form object is automatically copied, deleted, renamed, and transported with the form object. However, the functions Upload Form Object and Download Form Object do not take into account the documentation.

Choose Goto Documentation .
Create or change the documentation for the form object.
Save.

Version Management of Form Objects

Call the form object for editing.
Follow the procedure below:
- To save a version in the version management database, choose Utilities Versions Generate Version .
- To access the version management functions, choose Utilities Versions Version Management .
