Download Spreadsheets

This transaction allows the user to either all available download packages or to choose download packages from a list of available packages of data for download. The selection is a simple list with a name and a description. When the user chooses to download, the system collects the data and saves it in a local XML file on the local PC. A default file name is created, which the user can change if desired. If you are using earlier versions of this application, then the file can be opened directly in Microsoft Excel ©. Each download package is stored in a separate worksheet within the spreadsheet document. Later versions require a separate tool to convert the file to a more sophisticated spreadsheet document.

Use

You can invoke this feature with transaction DBACOCKPIT. Then choose Download → Download Spreadsheets. Then choose the download packages and click on Download.
