After you have called up a worklist, you can access the objects that it contains to translate them. You can translate the objects in your worklist individually by double-clicking them, or you can use the Sequentially Process Objects function.
The worklist screen contains more functions, which are described below.
You have maintained the worklist settings.
You have called up a worklist.
Calling up Objects for Translation
Place the cursor on the top node in your worklist and choose Expand, so that you can see the individual objects.
You can edit the objects in your worklist in the following ways:
You can double-click an individual object to access it, and then return to the worklist after translating the object so that you can open the next object by double-clicking it too.
You can process the objects sequentially, without returning to the worklist after translating an object. Your worklist settings determine how the system opens objects one after the other for translation.
Place your cursor on the first object underneath a specific node and
choose Sequentially Process Objects. After you
have translated an object, you can access the next object to be
translated by choosing
or . You can return to the previous object by choosing
or .
When you have finished editing all of the objects under the node, the system returns to the worklist screen.
If you want to process all of the objects in your worklist sequentially, place the cursor on the top node and choose Sequentially Process Objects.
The system branches directly to the short text editor or long text editor, depending on the object type of the object. Translate the object and then save.
More Functions in the Worklist Screen

You can perform a text search in all of the short text objects in your worklist, for example to correct translations. For more information, see Performing Generic Text Searches.
Extend Worklist
To add more objects to your existing worklist, choose Extend Worklist or . This takes you to the Create Worklist screen, where you can maintain the parameters for calling up objects on the Standard Worklist tab page. Further information about the parameters for calling up worklists is available under Calling Up a Worklist.
When you choose Reserve Objects, the system takes you back to your worklist which has been extended by the objects you just selected.
If you maintained the parameters in such a way that the system could not add any more objects to your worklist, the message No objects selected appears in a popup. To return to your existing worklist, close the popup and choose Cancel.

function, see Unicode Text Length Check.
Creating Session-Bound Top Texts
Session-bound top texts are lists of source texts in your worklist that are sorted according to how frequently they occur in your worklist. They only contain short texts and are displayed in your worklist as demonstration objects. By choosing , you can generate session-bound top texts for all of the source texts in your worklist.
For more information on session-bound top texts, see Generating Session-Bound Top Texts.
