Reusing Solution Manager Process Steps in an Existing Composite ProcessLocate this document in the navigation structure

Context

You use this procedure to reuse the process steps of a Solution Manager project in an existing business process. This helps in reducing redundancy.

Procedure

  1. Select the required Business Process.
  2. Choose Process Flow .
  3. In the context menu of the process pool whose process steps you want to implement, choose Link To Existing Composite Process .
  4. In the Link To Existing Composite Process dialog box, select the required process step.
    Note

    You can select multiple process steps.

  5. Select the Process Composer DC where you want to create this process.
  6. Choose Finish .
    Note

    • If you do not want to use a Solution Manager process step in a composite process, choose Unlink in the context menu of the process step. In the Unlink from Composite Process dialog box that opens, choose Yes .

    • You can view the composite process documentation of a process by choosing Generate and Publish Documentation in its context menu.
