Preparing the Target and Monitor Systems

Some actions depend on the system landscape so the list of actions to be performed needs to be selected from a checklist of possible options. For example, if the system that performs the monitoring is an SAPsystem installed on a SQL Server database then you do not have to install the SQL Server client libraries. However, if the system that performs the monitoring is an SAP system installed on a different database platform then you most likely need to install the SQL Server client libraries on the SAP application server physical hosts.
