SQL Script Maintenance

Use

This application is an SAP internal tool for displaying and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server-specific Transact SQL scripts. We recommend that customers do not change the SAP delivered set of scripts unless requested by SAP Support.

This application replaces the SAP program MSSPROCS, which was used in older releases.

You find it in the DBA Cockpit under Start of the navigation path Configuration Next navigation step SQL Script Maintenance End of the navigation path .

You should not execute scripts from this screen but from the following screen Monitoring Environment.

Features

The settings section allows you to compare the Transact SQL script version that exists in the database with the version that exists in the tables containing the source code. The version string contains the following parts:

SAP release
SQL Server release
SAP internal script version.
If the script version in the destination database is smaller than the source version, then go to Monitoring Environment and run all scripts.
