Use

This service group monitors the configuration of log files.

Monitored Unit

Description

General/TotalLogFilesSize

Shows the total size of all log and trace files excluding archives.

Messages/All

Shows the number of all log and trace messages.

Messages/Error

Shows messages with ERROR severity.

Messages/Fatal

Shows messages with FATALseverity.

Messages/Warning

Shows messages with WARNING severity.
Activities

If the values of these monitors start to grow considerably, follow the steps:

  1. Open SAP NetWeaver Administrator and choose Start of the navigation path Troubleshooting  Next navigation step Logs and Traces  Next navigation step Log Viewer End of the navigation path.

  2. Filter the applications by Severity .

  3. Expand the Details column and then, from the Log Record Details pane, choose the relevant customer message component to report the issue.
