In the development environment, developers assign packages to application components in the application hierarchy.
In the translation environment, packages are called collections and are assigned to domains in the same way.
This function copies the current application hierarchy to the translation hierarchy, so that collections are assigned to the correct domains in the translation environment, reflecting the assignment of packages to application components in the development environment.
You must create the collection-domain assignment at the start of your translation project, and refresh it whenever new packages are transported to, or created directly in, your translation system.
This ensures that the system offers the correct best proposals for source texts in a specific domain, and allows you to create domain-specific proposals for the correct domain.
After creating the domain assignment, you call up an object that belongs to a package from Basis (BC). If a domain standard is available for the domain BC in the proposal pool, then this is the best proposal. Any domain standards or exceptions that you create are created in the BC node.

We recommend that you refresh the domains once a week while translation is ongoing.
To save time, you can refresh the domains when you create an object list.
