In the detail view for a data target, the system shows the Deletion of Requests tab for InfoCubes in the lower part of the screen. Procedure

  1. Under Number of Requests to Never Delete, specify the minimum number of requests that should remain in the data target after the deletion run.
  2. By pressing Evaluate Requests you can call information about whether requests are suitable for deletion from the data target, and if so how many.
  3. Once you have called this information, you can display further information by pressing Details.
  4. Define how old request admininstration information must be in order to be considered for deletion.
  5. Choose Schedule Deletion Run and define the scheduling conditions.
The system defines a variant with the naming convention /SINGLE_DEL/<Datenzielname> and schedules the job in accordance with the scheduling conditions.
  6. Monitor the deletion run.
    1. By choosing Display Deletion Jobs (Display Deletion Jobs) you can switch to the job overview.
    2. By choosing Display Deletion LogDeletion Logs, you can call the logs for the deletion runs. To do this, you first select the time period that you want to display logs for. The system displays a list of deletion runs. For each deletion run, you can display the batch manager messages and the batch job.
