If you want to use UCON with a Secure CA, you can either configure it immediately in the setup or do this at a later time using the UCON setup status dialog. The setup status dialog also enables you to remove the Secure CA and use UCON with the Default CA only.
a) UCON Setup with Default CA and Secure CA
To configure UCON with Secure CA, proceed as follows:
- Call the transaction UCONCOCKPIT.
- Select the RFC basis scenario.
- In the menu, choose and select Use separate virtual host for SNC communication under Administration of Virtual SNC Host.
- Choose Setup (Enter).
b) UCON Setup with Default CA only and Secure CA configured later
To configure UCON without Secure CA, proceed as follows:
- Call the transaction UCONCOCKPIT.
- Select the RFC basis scenario.
- In the menu, choose and deselect Use separate virtual host for SNC communication under Administration of Virtual SNC Host.
- Choose Setup (Enter).
To add Secure CA later, proceed as follows:
- In the menu, choose and choose Generate and Save SNC CA.
- Choose OK.
c) Remove Secure CA
To remove Secure CA if created as described under a) or b), proceed as follows:
- Call the transaction UCONCOCKPIT.
- Select the RFC basis scenario.
- In the menu, choose and choose Delete and Save SNC CA.
- In the confirmation dialog, choose Delete SNC CA and Continue. This removes Secure CA and all associated RFMs are assigned to the Default CA. This means that these RFCs can now be called externally without SNC.
Note If UCON was configured with Secure CA, this applies to every client, to the virtual host, and to the configuration defined under Edit Virtual Host and Configuration per Client in the UCON setup status dialog. This means that activating or deactivating a client for UCON creates or removes both the default host and the virtual host for SNC, plus the default host and Secure CA in this client.
