Creating Copies of Data ObjectsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

You have a process with at least one data object in it.

Context

You use this procedure to prevent the process diagrams from looking cluttered.

Procedure

  1. In the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio, choose Start of the navigation path Windows Next navigation step Open Perspective Next navigation step Process Development End of the navigation path.
  2. In the Project Explorer view, expand Start of the navigation path <DC Name> Next navigation step Process Modeling Next navigation step Processes End of the navigation path.
  3. Choose a process.
  4. In the Outline view, expand Start of the navigation path <DC Name> Next navigation step Data Objects End of the navigation path.
  5. Drag the data object you want to copy.
  6. Drop the data object where you want to place it in the process diagram editor.
  7. Choose Save .
    Note

    You can use a copied data object only within the scope of the original data object.
