Monitoring and Managing BPM Systems, Processes, and Tasks

SAP NetWeaver Administrator is the central administration tool for the Application Server Java (AS Java). It provides applications for monitoring, configuration, operations and troubleshooting.

The BPM integration with SAP NetWeaver Administrator consists of the following:

• BPM System Overview : Monitor the BPM sub systems and adapters, view the number of processes and tasks in different statuses, and so on.

• Process Repository : You can view the development components of the deployed processes and you can start a process.

• Process Management : You can monitor and administer the process instances in the system.

• Task Management : You can monitor and administer the task instances in the system.

• Business Logs : You can monitor and analyze business events of BPM.

• Process Troubleshooting : You can check for the availability of BPM components and subsystems.

• Process Data Archiving : You can archive process and task instances with relevant data, such as process context, tasks, attachments, and business log.

In addition to the applications that are integrated in the SAP NetWeaver Administrator, other monitors and applications are provided, for example, to monitor the consistency status in BPM clusters.
