
With UWL out of the box installation, the UWL user interface comes with predefined views, tabs and dropdown choices having the feature described below. You can customize your UWL by uploading XML configuration files. For more information, see: Advanced Configuration.

Notifications
Notifications are messages that inform you about, for example missed deadlines.
SAPoffice Mails
The category SAPoffice Mails contains SAP Office Mailbox items. When displaying SAP Office Mail items in the UWL you can also conveniently display and download attachments, forward and delete inbox items.

Tracking
The category Tracking contains Collaboration work items you have been assigned to track, forwarded items and those items you have resubmitted.

Substitution
Substitution is a feature of the UWL that allows you to take over items from other users (on a due-course basis as well as in case of an emergency) and to assign items to other users (that is, to give other users permissions to take over items). These cases are defined by certain substitution rules, which can be managed through the Substitution screens.

Resubmission
From the workitem context menu, you can resubmit (follow-up) a task. You can enter a date manually or choose date to assign for follow-up on the task.

It depends on the task type and the configuration of the UWL if a particular function (for example, resubmit or forward a task) is available to you.

Manage Attachments
For the work items that have attachments you can download, add and remove attachments via the Manage Attachment screen. This screen is accessible via the work item context menu.

Adding a Memo
You can add additional information to a Business Workflow task by submitting a memo.

You can forward a task / item to another user.
