You can display the performance data that you have called on the detailed data for monitoring attributes screen graphically. You can use this data, for example, to compare the individual response times for multiple application servers at a glance and to analyze possible tendencies within your SAP system.
Each value in the graphical display is expressed as a value between 0 and 1, so that you can compare different values with each other. For example, you can easily compare the CPU performance with the number of users logged on to an application server, although these are expressed in different units.
SAP R/3 4.6A provided new functions for displaying the curve. You can use the Fitfunction to test the relationship between different curves. If you choose this function, the highest value in the curve is assigned the value 1 in the graphical display, and the lowest value is assigned the value 0. In this way, you can see the relationship between the two curves clearly.
There are two other display options: you can display an extract from the performance data curve, and you can change the scaling of the display, so that you can see differences in the reported values more clearly.
The new graphical display can also show up "gaps" in your measurement data. If, for example, the system was not active for a time, there is a gap in the display, to show that no values were recorded during this time.
You can also choose how you want to graphically display the performance data. You can choose between a variety of options (bar chart, pie chart, or table).
