Splitting Classes

By splitting classes you can move selected methods, attributes and events of a class to a new class. For more information, see Class Diagram .

There is an existing association between the original class and the new class.

1. Create a new class as described in Creating Classes .
2. In the original class, define an association to the class you have just created.
3. Move the class components to the associated class as described in Moving Components to Associated Classes .
