Determining Cross-System InformationLocate this document in the navigation structure

These reports provide an overview of the systems, roles, profiles, and license data assigned to users in a central user administration (CUA) landscape.

Prerequisites

You can only perform these evaluations in the central system of a CUA landscape.

Context

The procedure is explained using an example of Users by System (RSUSR_SYSINFO_ZBV). To display the list of users on a child system, follow the procedure below:

Procedure

  1. Start User Information System (transaction SUIM) in the central system of the central user administration.
  2. Choose Start of the navigation path User Information System Next navigation step User Next navigation step Cross-System Information (Central User-Administration) End of the navigation path.
  3. Choose Users by System.
  4. Choose from the following options:
    • To determine the CUA systems in which a certain user exists, enter the name of the user and choose (Execute).
    • To determine all or some of the users in one or more CUA systems, enter the user name, only a placeholder, or some of the name and the placeholder, such as FER*.

Results

The result list appears. Depending on your selection, the user names and receiving systems are displayed as well as the last outbound IDoc number of the respective user master record.

For the reports Users by Role, Users by Profile, and Users by License Data, you can restrict the selection further:

  • Users by Role (RSUSR_SYSINFO_ROLE)

You can use this report to display by system, which roles are assigned to users or the users to which specific roles are assigned.

You can restrict the selection using the name and validity of the role assigned to the user: all roles that exist and that are valid today or during a particular time period.

  • Users by Profile (RSUSR_SYSINFO_PROFILE)

You can use this report to display by system, which profiles are assigned to the users or the users to which specific profiles are assigned.

You can restrict the selection using the names of the profiles assigned to the user. For example, to find all users with the profile SAP_ALL in all child systems, enter SAP_ALL in the Profile field and choose (Execute).

  • Users by License Data (RSUSR_SYSINFO_LICENSE)

You can use this report to display by system, which types of license data are assigned to users or the users to which license data is assigned.
