Logging Users Off from a DatabaseLocate this document in the navigation structure

Context

Note

You need this function for troubleshooting only. Normally the system automatically performs the actions described below when you close Database Studio.

The system performs the following actions:

  • It logs off all users which are connected from Database Studio to the database.

  • It closes all views and editors opened by these users.

  • It ends all internal database sessions that Database Studio has implicitly opened for the selected database.

Procedure

  1. Select the database in the explorer tree.
  2. In the context menu of the database, choose Logout.
    Note

    To only log off a certain user, choose Logout in that user's context menu.
