Configuring Repositories on the CAF SystemLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequiste

You have properly configured repositories on the KM system.

Procedure
  1. Log on to the SAP NetWeaver Administrator.
  2. Choose Start of the navigation path Configuration Next navigation step Infrastructure Next navigation step Java System Properties End of the navigation path.
  3. In the details of the ZATPL_AIO template, open the Applications tab page and select caf~runtime~ear.
  4. Change the value of the following properties:
    Property Value

    KM_MACHINE_ADDRESS

    The combination of the host and port of the KM Application Server (AS) Java system.
    Example
    localhost:50000

    KM_PREVIEW_URL

    The HTTP URL of the KM AS Java followed by /irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs.

    KM_REPOSITORY

    The prefix of the CAF repository that is assigned to this CAF system. If you have created a new set of repositories and a security manager on the KM system for this CAF system, use the value that you entered for the prefix property when you created a new CAF repository instance. If you want to use the default set of repositories and a security manager, then leave the default value.

    KM_TMP_REPOSITORY_FOLDER

    The prefix of the CM repository that is assigned to this CAF system. If you created a new set of repositories and a security manager on the KM system for this CAF system, use the value that you entered for the prefix property when you created a new CM repository instance. If you want to use the default set of repositories and a security manager, then leave the default value.

  5. Choose Save.
  6. For your changes to take effect, restart the caf~runtime~ear application. Proceed as follows:
    1. Choose Start of the navigation path Home Next navigation step Operations Next navigation step Start & Stop End of the navigation path.
    2. Open the Java Applications tab page and select caf~runtime~ear.
    3. Choose Restart.
