Elements/Components of the Diagnosis Chart ViewLocate this document in the navigation structure

The Chart view is made up of these components:
  • The X-axis (for time) and Y-axis (for values) define the border of the actual Chart Area.
  • The Chart Heading is placed above the chart area and contains the server address in the following form:: Database Name / Log File Name <space> Date.
  • The Legend lists the names and line colors of the displayed colums.
    • To the left of the chart area there are five radio buttons which form a plus-sign. The placement of the legend can be controlled with these buttons. The five possible positions are: above, to the left, in the center, to the right or below the chart.

    • The Acronyms Button lets you toggle between full and abbreviated column names.
  • The Zoom/View Controls help you to set the size of the graph. There are three different controls:
    • The Fit to View Checkbox adjusts the size of the chart to the currently available screen area so that the complete chart is visible. Use the checkbox to adjust the size of the chart.
    • The Number of Entries Field allows the input of a numeric value which defines how many data points are visible in the current screen area. The Fit to View Checkbox must be unchecked to make this function available.
    • The Zoom Slider allows to zoom in and out ouf the chart. The Fit to View Checkbox must be unchecked to make this function available.
