Configuring the Web Page Composer EditorsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

You have installed UI development toolkit for HTML5 (SAPUI5) on your system because the new Web Page Composer editors require the use of SAPUI5 runtime library. To ensure that SAPUI5 is available on your system, you can use the following procedure: Viewing Component Information.

Note If SAPUI5 is not installed on your system, you can download it from the Support Portal of SAP Service MarketplaceInformation published on SAP site. To do this, go to Start of the navigation path Software Downloads Next navigation step Support Packages and Patches Next navigation step Browse Our Download Catalog Next navigation step SAP NetWeaver and complementary products Next navigation step SAP NetWeaver End of the navigation path, choose the relevant release of SAP NetWeaver and under the Enterprise Portal component find the SAPUI5 client you need.

Context

You can use this procedure to configure the Web content editors that are available in the Web Page Composer.

Procedure

  1. In the portal, choose Start of the navigation path System Administration Next navigation step System Configuration Next navigation step Knowledge Management Next navigation step Content Management Next navigation step Web Page Composer Next navigation step Editor Next navigation step Editor Configuration End of the navigation path.
  2. To edit a configuration, select the checkbox that corresponds to that configuration and choose Edit .
  3. You can configure the following parameters:
    • Cache Documents - choose if WPC documents will be cached.

    • New Web Form Editor - choose if the new editors will be used for creating Web content. For more information about the new editors, see Using the New Editors in Web Page Composer .

    • Image Layoutset - select the layout set that will be used for images. A layout set can be used for the display of an iView or for particular folders. For more information, see Layout Sets .

    • Link Layoutset - select the layout set that will be used for links. A layout set can be used for the display of an iView or for particular folders. For more information, see Layout Sets .

    • Image Root - the default folder that is used for the images that you add to your Web content.

    • Link Root - the default folder that is used for the documents that you link in your Web content.

  4. Save your changes.
