Upgrade |
The business function is switched on during an upgrade when the business function set is switched on. Upgrade here means a change from a release with an IS solution to a release using the Switch Framework. This flag must be set for all business functions that contain objects which were previously part of the IS solution. This is to make sure that no function gets lost in the process of upgrading. This flag must not be set for business functions that contain new functions (for example, by offering business functions of another business function set). |
The system checks whether you have specified all the parameters correctly.
In the Comments column, you see an explanatory text if the assignment is defined in a superordinate or subordinate business function set.
After all prerequisites are met, the system sets an Active status to your business function set. Refresh the transaction to see the updated status.
Using this procedure you have created a new business function set, assigned business functions to it, and activated the set for further usage.
