Use

You use this function to verify if the specifications in the layout structure, the field catalog, and the output table are consistent.

Features

The consistency check function allows you to access:

  • The field catalog

  • The layout structure

  • The sort table

  • The filter table

  • The structure for the layout (using the Variant pushbutton)

  • The field group table

After you have started the consistency check, the top screen area displays the results of the check in a tree control. In the bottom screen area, you can display the individual tables and structures.

Activities

Start the consistency check by keeping the Shift key pressed and simultaneously double-clicking the right mouse button on an area in the ALV Grid Control in which no table rows are displayed (to do this, scroll to the right area of the output).
