Adding a Web Dynpro Development Component to CVS RepositoryLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

You have opened the Web Dynpro perspective in the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio. You have created a Web Dynpro DC and a CVS Repository location.

Procedure


  1. In the Web Dynpro Explorer , click the Web Dynpro DC that you want to add to CVS and from the context menu choose Start of the navigation path Team Next navigation step Share Project End of the navigation path.

  2. Choose CVS

  3. ChooseNext

  4. Select the Use existing repository location option and choose the repository location.

  5. Select the Usespecified module name option and enter the module name.

    Recommendation

    We recommend that you enter the module name in the following format: <development configuration>/<software component>/<development component>

    /<module name> The system will create the module under the <development component> that you enter.

  6. Choose Next

  7. To add files to the CVS repository, click the Web Dynpro DC in the Web Dynpro Explorer and from the context menu choose Start of the navigation path Team Next navigation step Commit End of the navigation path.

    The system displays the list of files with unknown names or extensions that it detected in the workspace.

  8. Choose Next

  9. In the text field, enter a description.

    In the changes screen area, the system displays the list of files that it will add to the CVS repository.

  10. ChooseFinish

Results

The DC and its corresponding files are added to the CVS repository.
