Examples of a Hierarchy TransformationLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

When heirachies are loaded by segment, you must fill at least the header and the hierarchy node segments. The other segments are optional.

The following examples show the hierarchy header and the hierarchy nodes.

Example of a hierarchy header transformation (for PSA format and IDoc format):

Special features:

  • The InfoObject 0H_NORESTNO (display assigned nodes only) has the rule type No Transformation. This improves the performance.

Example of a Hierarchy Node Transformation (PSA format):

Special features:

  • The field FIELDNM has been assigned to the InfoObject OH_IOBJNM in the target structure using the rule type Hierarchy Derivation.

Example of a Hierarchy Node Transformation (IDoc format):

Special features:

  • The field NODENAME is assigned to 0HIERNODE and is also assigned to the compound objects 0COSTCENTER and 0COSTAREA using the rule type Hierarchy Split.

  • A start routine was created that writes the From value of the interval to the node structure segment.
