Additional SSL PortsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

By default the AS Java uses only one port for SSL communications. The credentials for the SSL communications are stored in the ICM_SSL_ <instance_ID> keystore view the content of which is exported to a PSE file in the <secudir> .

If you want to use more than one port for SSL (HTTPS), you can do that by using the ICM_SSL_ <instance_ID>_<port> keystore views. When you use these views, you can set up the same or different Personal Security Environment (PSE) for the AS Java. After you configure these views you must export them to a corresponding SAPSSLS_ <port> .pse file in the <secudir> , where <port> has the same value as the <port> part in the name of the view.

Caution

Before you start using different ports for SSL, you must first set up the usage of these ports in the Internet Communications Manager (ICM). More information about the maintenance of SSL parameters in the ICM: Maintaining ICM Parameters for Using SSL .
