Editing Properties of WSRP Producer ConnectionsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

  • You are assigned to the portal role that contains the Federated Portal workset. By default this is the System Administration role.

  • You have been assigned at least administrator read-write permission to the producer object.

Note

The producer object may inherit the permission assigned to its parent folder in the Portal Catalog. For example, the WSRP Content Producers folder.

Note

The functionality described in this topic does not apply to an SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment system without usage type EP Core - Application Portal (EPC).

You can use the WSRP Producer editors to view and edit the properties of a WSRP connection, such as the connection property that enable an SAP NetWeaver consumer portal to locate the WSDL file on the producer portal upon registration.

Procedure


  1. In the consumer portal, navigate to Start of the navigation path System Administration Next navigation step Federated Portal Next navigation step  Non-SAP - WSRP Connections Next navigation step  Manage My WSRP Producers End of the navigation path.

  2. In the Portal Catalog, locate the WSRP producer object in the WSRP Content Producers folder.

  3. In the context menu of the object, choose Open and then one of the following options:

    Description

    Remote Content Producer

    Allows you to view and change the full URL of the WSDL definition file that is located on the remote producer portal.

    Properties

    Allows you to view and change the properties of a WSRP connection (producer object).

    Caution

    Do not modify any of the properties in the Properties editor, unless you are specifically instructed in the documentation to do so or by an SAP support person.

  4. Save your changes.

  5. Close the editor.
