Making Personal SettingsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

You can change the user interface of the Integration Builder to meet your individual requirements by making the relevant adjustments in your personal settings. In particular, challenged users can adapt the application to their needs for accessibility.

Note

The personal settings are stored on the user's computer. The settings are not retained when the user goes to a different computer.

You can restore the default settings at any point by choosing Default Settings .

Procedure

To call the entry screen for Personal Settings , in the main menu choose Start of the navigation path Tools Next navigation step Personal Settings End of the navigation path.

In the Personal Settings editor, you can make settings for the following work areas:

Make General Settings

To call the entry template for these settings, in the navigation area of the editor, choose General .

  • Preferred display language for objects

    You can set the display language for language-specific texts of the objects.

  • Autocomplete

    You can activate or deactivate the autocomplete function. You can also delete the history of the input fields.

  • Accessibility

    You can make it possible to focus on additional elements (text fields that are not entry fields), making them accessible to challenged users.

    Note

    Screen readers can read out the contents of these elements.

  • Object view

    You can define whether the header area in the object editors is shown or hidden.

Make Navigation Settings

To call the entry template for these settings, in the navigation area of the editor, choose Navigation .

You can define whether or not you want to restore the subtrees when you start the application. In this case mark checkbox Restore Focus on Subtrees After Restart .

Make Search-Function Settings

To call the entry template for these settings, in the navigation area of the editor, choose Find .

For search help you can set one of the following two options:

  • Display as a tab page in the work area of the application window

  • Display as modeless window

You can also define whether the search function should start in standard search mode or in enhanced search mode.

Make Logon Dialog Settings

  • Logon language

    You can set which logon language is proposed in the logon dialog for the Integration Builder.

    Recommendation

    Use this function if you have logged on to the Process Integration tools using Single Sign-On and want to change the logon language of the new session you have opened.
