Configuring ConnectionsLocate this document in the navigation structure

By assigning communication components to process components, you implicitly determine the sender and receiver services for the connections between the process components of the model. You can further refine the assignment of sender and receiver components at connection level by activating or deactivating individual sender/receiver relations for each connection. By doing so, you can assign communication channels and get collaboration agreements calculated.

You have assigned communication components to the process components.

  1. Double-click a connection arrow in the interactive figure. Tab pages appear below the model graphic in which you can configure the connection. The navigation arrows ( and ) enable you to navigate the other connections in the model.

  2. On the Connections from Communication Component Assignment tab page, activate or deactivate the relevant sender/receiver relations (checkboxes) for the selected connection.
