Monitoring the CacheLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

  • The user account you use should be assigned to one of the Process Integration monitoring roles. For more information about which roles allow you to view monitoring information, see Monitoring Roles .

  • You have accessed the cache monitor in one of the following ways:

    • Open a browser and go to http://[host]:[port]/pimon to access the Process Integration tools. Then choose Start of the navigation path Monitoring Next navigation step Adapter Engine Next navigation step Cache Monitor End of the navigation path or Start of the navigation path Monitoring Next navigation step Mapping Runtime Next navigation step Cache Monitor End of the navigation path.

    • Open a browser and go to http://[host]:[port]/nwa to access SAP NetWeaver Administrator. Then choose Start of the navigation path SOA Next navigation step Monitoring Next navigation step PI Cache Monitoring End of the navigation path.

Context

You can use the cache monitor to display objects that are currently in the runtime cache of the Advanced Adapter Engine and the Mapping Runtime. You can enter selection criteria to search for current objects in the runtime cache, and review the details of a selected object.

Procedure


  1. Enter the desired selection criteria.

  2. If available, choose Advanced in the standard mode to add more search details in advanced mode.

  3. Start your search.

Results

The system displays a table of hits. The content varies depending on the selected cache object. You can choose the number of hits displayed in each case. To display the detail information for an entry from the hit list, choose the corresponding row.
