Advanced Adapter Engine CacheLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

You have accessed the cache monitor. For more information, see Monitoring the Cache .

Features

The cache of the Advanced Adapter Engine differentiates between the following cache objects:

  • Party

The system searches for communication parties and displays them.

  • Communication Component

The system displays communication components with or without a party.

You can use a parameter to search in advanced mode. If you leave the Party field blank, communication components with or without a party are found and displayed. However, if you enter a space, only communication components without a party are displayed.

You can select a component to see its details and the names of the authorized users.

  • Channel

The system displays information about the communication channels. You can select a channel to see its details: parameters, identifiers, attributes, and available modules.

  • Sender Agreement and Receiver Agreement

You can enter search criteria to find a particular agreement. When the system displays the results, you can select an agreement to view its details including the agreement attributes and the header mapping. If a Web service communication is configured in the communication channel, the system also displays the assignment (including the profile) and logical ports of the server configuration (provider).

  • Adapter Metadata

You can search adapter metadata by name, namespace, and software component.

  • Operation Mapping

You can search operation mapping by name, namespace, and software component.

  • Software Component

The system displays a list of all the hierarchical software component versions that were imported from the System Landscape Directory. For more information, see the “Editing Software Component Versions” topic in the documentation for managing services in Enterprise Services Repository.

  • Integrated Configuration

When searching for integrated configuration objects, you use the same selection criteria as those used to search for sender and receiver agreements.

In the detail view you find the following information:

    • Inbound Processing

The software component version of the interface, the validation mode, and the inbound processing attributes. You can display the attributes (if available) in a browser. You can also switch to the entries for the communication channel.

    • Receivers

The system displays a list of the configured receivers and conditions. If receivers are operation-specific, one or more operations are defined for the corresponding sender interface. In this case, the system displays a list of conditions and receivers for each sender interface operation. The action that must be executed if no receiver is found is always displayed.

    • Receiver Interfaces

A list of the configured receivers with receiver interfaces and mappings.

    • Outbound Processing

The assigned receiver interfaces, information about the header mapping, and the outbound processing attributes. You can display the attributes (if available) in a browser. You can also switch to the entries for the communication channel.

    • Assigned Users

A list of authorized users (if available).

    • Namespace Prefixes

A list of defined namespace prefixes (if available).

For more information about integrated configuration, see the “Defining the Integrated Configuration” topic in the documentation of Integration Directory.
