Use

The Statistics user menu gives you, among other things, a display of the database fill level history of your database.

Prerequisites

Prerequisites

You can only use the display for the basis database of the SAP system.

Procedure

In the Database Assistant, choose Start of the navigation path Statistics Next navigation step DB Fill Level End of the navigation path.

or

Open the DBA Cockpit (transaction DBACOCKPIT) and choose Start of the navigation path Space Next navigation step Database Fill Level End of the navigation path (not for SAP NetWeaver 7.1).

Result

The system displays the following: History of the database fill level for the data area and log area.

You receive information about the fill level of the database for the previous four weeks. You can set this output time frame. A collector logs the fill level of the data area and of the log area of the database once a day, so that you can monitor the growth of the data over a specified period. You can display these statistics in a graphic.

Deleting Statistics Data

Deleting statistics data can be done manually by specifying a time period/date or automatically by specifying a time period (in weeks).
