Use

Using the Expand/Collapse Hierarchy Nodes command (SET_DRILL_STATE), you can expand or collapse the hierarchy nodes for a hierarchy at the runtime for a Web application.

Command Parameters

The following information lists the command parameters in the same sequence that they appear in the command wizard when you insert the command:

Parameter Description

Target Data Providers (TARGET_DATA_PROVIDER_REF_LIST)

You enter a list of all data providers on which the command is based.

You specify the individual data providers in the Data Provided Affected parameter (TARGET_DATA_PROVIDER_REF).

Axis (DRILL_AXIS)

You use this parameter to specify whether the command is to apply to the rows or columns:

Rows (ROWS)

Columns (COLUMNS)

Characteristic (CHARACTERISTIC)

You use this parameter and the input help dialog to select the characteristic for which the node of the display hierarchy is to be expanded or collapsed.

Position Index of Object (INDEX)

You use this parameter to specify the position of the characteristic in the drilldown (such as data cell 5). This parameter is particularly useful if there are several objects on an axis in the drilldown and the hierarchy node specification is not sufficient as a result.

Drill State (DRILL_STATE)

You use this parameter to specify whether the hierarchy is to be expanded or collapsed. You can choose from the following options:

Expanded (EXPANDED)

Collapsed (COLLAPSED)

Drilldown According to Next Object on Axis (DRILL_DOWN)

Toggle Drill State (TOGGLED)

Expand to Level (DRILL_LEVEL)

You use this parameter to specify the hierarchy level to which the hierarchy is to be expanded.
