archive_dupl_del 

This parameter defines a second, or “duplex”, copy of the offline redo log files created by BRARCHIVE.

Syntax: archive_dupl_del = only | yes | no | check

Default: only

Possible values:

·        only: Offline redo log files created by the Oracle parameter log_archive_duplex_dest are deleted, but not those created with the Oracle parameter log_archive_dest_2.

·        no: Offline redo log files created by either the Oracle parameter log_archive_duplex_dest or the Oracle parameter log_archive_dest_2 are not deleted (this is the same as setting the environment variable BR_NDD).

·        yes: Offline redo log files created by either the Oracle parameter log_archive_duplex_dest or the Oracle parameter log_archive_dest_2  are deleted

·        check: Offline redo log files created by either the Oracle parameter log_archive_duplex_dest or the Oracle parameter log_archive_dest_2  are only deleted when a binary compare with the first copy of the offline redo log file has completed successfully. This protects you against data corruption.
